It's that time of the year again. I'm sitting at the Indianapolis airport, waiting for my flight to Washington, DC. Last night I decided to drive to Lexington, Kentucky at 8:45pm, to pick up some mail for Lubumbashi, DR Congo. Quite an insane thought, but in a country with good roads, so why not? This is like being in Lubumbashi and tellIng someone that I need to go to Kolwezi (200 miles) at 8:30pm to pick up mail and will return the same night. Impossible . One way trip from Lubumbashi to Kolwezi can easily take 6-7 hours. Well to our volunteers who are coming to the Congo with me, don't dream of such an errand.
Also, the consequence is that i have not slept yet in the last 24 hours.
